Cohen's lived the first eighteen years of his life in the omega dorms, trained for a life of submission with whoever decides to make him theirs. But he's always dreamed of a better life, one where an omega is more than just an object for his alpha. When the car transporting him to his new master crashes, he takes the chance, escaping into free, if lonely, life among humans. Once in a while, he dreams of having a mate, an alpha who can protect him so that he's not looking over his shoulder everyday. But those don't exist, do they?
Dom has only one goal Get revenge on the hunters that wiped out his whole pack. Everything else must fall to the side until he finds them. After all, he's the reason why he'll never have a family, a home, a pack to call his own. When the hunters threaten a lonely omega in the heart of the city, Dom steps in. What he isn't prepared for though, is the overwhelming attraction he feels for the omega, the ancient drive to bond with a mate. In Cohen, Dom finds a future that he thought he would never have...one he'll do anything to protect.

I don’t think this ever made it to editing. Typos (like “have” for “half”), missing words, grammar mistakes and syntax errors such constant tense switches, even within the same paragraph. What’s worse, there are mistakes like this: “Once he’d parked himself firmly in a back corner booth…on the way in, he had grabbed a newspaper, and now he spread it across the table.” Two paragraphs later: “He pushed open the frosted glass door of Rosie’s, scanning the diner…Rosie waved him over to a booth she’d just cleaned up…Dom accepted the newspaper Rosie offered him.” Did he come in and sit down twice? As for the plot, there were a few issues that didn’t make a lot of sense. Cohen ran away from his pack, not because he’d even been hurt or abused, but because he didn’t want to spend his life as an omega serving an alpha’s every whim, which for the most part is usually sex-related. But when he meets Dom he’s practically begging for sex and doesn’t care that he has a bullet in his leg. And he left his pack before he even met his alpha; he was being driven to his new “master” (WTF?) through ice covered mountains. So he was being mated outside of his own pack? Then there was the issue of the wolfsbane. At one point the story states that Dom had been drinking wolfsbane tea (“as his kind had for centuries”) to keep his wolf side hidden, but that it had to be mixed carefully because an overdose could be fatal. And even though it wasn’t clear, it seems Dom fed leaves of this same plant to Cohen. If they were a special breed of wolf that was immune to this poison, then at some point it should have been mentioned. And what exactly happened with the hunters?
If you completely overlook all of the above, the lack of character development and thus only mildly likeable MCs, as least you can be happy with the white picket fence HEA ending.

Finding his Omega M/M Gay Shifter MPreg Romance edition by Wolf Specter Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Great story. Loved it!
Excellent I get so involved in these books that I hate being interrupted.
This is a story about two lone wolf's who find each other and how they were able to become a family.
I really loved reading this book I enjoyed it a lot. I love the relationship between Dom and Cohen and I also loved the idea that they both got what they wanted. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends.
This was a very good story. It would be a great story with just a bit more character development, some additional content, some expansion on what led Dom and Cohen to the place where they meet and the building of the life they share. Hopefully we'll see them again, maybe when Sean and Owen are older, when pups three through seven are born and the pack has grown in size (pups don't count, yet).
Normally I inhale Wolf Specter's books but this one did little for me. It read like it was rushed and appears incomplete, things happened so quickly and once I completed the story I had a ton of questions. The plot has many holes and the characters lack depth. I think this story has the potential of a full length novel with a little more character and plot development. This story was disappointing but it hasn't deterred me from reading his work because Wolf does deliver awesome stories.
Out of all the short story Wolf Specter books I have read so far I have to admit I keep coming back to this one.
I like the way it starts off as a dark "action oriented" / "revenge seeking" plot and ends up with a warm and fuzzy family oriented scene at the end. The required sex "alpha/omega", "insta-love" & "mpreg" stuff eventually takes place and are prominent towards the end but they are not the only reason for the story being told unlike many other Wolf Specter short stories I have read so far. So this little gem is kinda unique in a really good way and personally I hope Wolf Specter someday comes back around and revisits and maybe even rewrites or fleshes out this way too short one off story and makes it all into something more novel length with a less frantic build up because I see so much potential here for more of everything I liked but thats just my opinion.
